To the government and people of Indonesia, the CTI-CFF extends our congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
We trust that the strong bond and commitment within Indonesia and the five CTI-CFF Member States namely Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste in sustaining our marine and coastal resources through the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security, that was initiated in 2009 by the former President of Indonesia, will continue to safeguard the extraordinary marine and coastal resources by addressing issues like food security, climate change and marine biodiversity.
We also believe that with the strong will of the government and the people of Indonesia, COVID-19 would be managed and tackled together successfully in due time.
